Gourmet kebabs?!...surely not
Located on West Nile Street, the heart of Glasgow's city centre, this gourmet kebab house is giving us all of the Mediterranean feels! Upon entry the atmosphere hits you, transporting you away to the deep blue seas and sun-drenched isles of the Mediterranean paradise - an escape from the cold, rainy streets of Glasgow.
'Babs also have a great drink selection, offering something for all taste buds - a variation of cocktails, beers and wines, which were all reasonably priced. 'Babs do offer beer jugs which can be handy as it means you don't have to keep on ordering drinks throughout your meal. The overall service in 'Babs was second to none with waiters and waitresses being very friendly and catering to your every need. The service was also quick and didn't feel like we were waiting around in between courses for long at all. We went on a weekday and all tables were occupied, so booking would be essential.
Serving up a variety of different street food, this restaurant is paying homage to the kebab's heritage. Customers can enjoy typical dishes from Greece, Turkey and Levant. 'Babs offer a variety of food including: nibbles, sharing platters, burgers, gyros and different styles of gourmet kebabs. I had the cheese burger and it was honestly hands down the best cheese burger I have ever had! I would definitely recommend it! It should be noted that the burgers don't come with fries so if you're feeling hungry definitely add a side of fries.

Due to the new restrictions in place in the Glasgow area 'Babs isn't open for sit-in services, however you can order online with Uber Eats or alternatively you can pick up your delivery from 'Babs yourself. However, when visiting before the new restrictions all COVID-19 measures were in place: face masks mandatory, hand sanitising on entry, all tables positioned socially distant and menus were disposable. This made the restaurant feel very secure and safe.

Overall, 'Babs is getting added to Row's Recommendations with a 9/10 rating. I had such an enjoyable time there and can't wait to go back and explore more of what the menu has to offer.
